A Japanese vehicle manufacturer unveiled the prototype of a new electric motorbike carrying a hybrid magnetic motor, which can run almost noiselessly up to 180 kilometres (112 miles) on one charge. Tokyo-based Axle Corporation says that the battery of the next-generation electric vehicle motorbike can be charged at home, in the same way as a cellular phone. It takes a little over 6 hours to fully charge the battery, and the vehicle’s maximum speed is capable of reaching 150 kilometres per …

the big oil companes are not ready to give up the “power of money“= greed, to invest in the future of the world.may GOD awake them !
16. January 2010 at 6:15 am
here is what people dont realize, i bet you that thing would cost like 300,000 bucks just cause of the engine lol
16. January 2010 at 5:10 pm
@usbiker133t lol hell yeah
16. January 2010 at 5:16 pm
What you dont realize is that the oil companies are investing in such things. Other things you dont realize is the cost of alternate energies, for nuclear energy to become a safe reality it will end up costing 10 years and 10 billion dollars worth of investment even before revenue wold be made. are you willing to take that risk?

Also, wind and solar energy is decent but maintenance makes it almost usless. Plus solar energy tech is growing so fast to replace with the most current plate is 400 dollars a square foot. God awake us? are you even religious? I take that as an insult bc i am a firm believer in the Lord.

3 years on and where is this BIKE ?
Ill tell you where… in the FORBIDDEN garage, its technology and innovation stifled by OIL GIANTS
18. January 2010 at 7:23 pm
looks allot like the bike off of the movie akira
18. January 2010 at 9:45 pm
looks more like a moped then a motercycle
19. January 2010 at 1:34 am
guess i can be your god… solar requires battery use. batteries are more harmful to the earth than a typical car would use in its lifetime over an electro car. all those green electric cars are going to be a spon on earth where nothing can grow for many generations…. go green (americans and their evil ruin the world. castrate yourselves)
19. January 2010 at 6:45 am
Well, ever stop to think that there are other batteries other than the Lead-Acid batteries and Li-Ion batteries? They’re not all harmful, its just more cost effective to produce these.
Nuclear batteries do exist, and last a long time. There are also high efficiency solar panels. Not that it matters, as long as there are people like you, we’re all gonna end up dead.

looks like that.
watch?v=LBION7jSGA4
20. January 2010 at 10:07 pm
I totally agree you. Only the speed is missing.
21. January 2010 at 9:25 am
not only the speed, it looks terrible, the energy losses ie solid fuel or gas to electricity plus charging losses from mains to battery, plus losses due to lost flux due to the displacement of the electromagnet , its highly highy inefficient, they would have been better off keeping their washing machine and forgetting all about this waste of time, certainly didnt need to be built, they knew the motor wasnt good enough. its all to show off as though they are more advanced because of anime.
22. January 2010 at 3:04 am
oh.. wait.. this is familiar….. i got it!! they got this in an anime?!?!
22. January 2010 at 7:52 pm
i thought it would hover

Looks comfortabel
24. January 2010 at 3:07 am
its AKIRA!!!
24. January 2010 at 5:53 am
Fucking cynics, can you imagine if they were around a hundred years ago. While they’re all filling up with rising oil prices and paying for parts and services, we’ll be obliviously cruising past with a faster better battery..
25. January 2010 at 8:14 am
Easy enough to build your own, get brushless hub motor kit with enough hp/watts to reach your top speed and bunch of lifepo4 batteries.
