Since rotating magnetic fields are necessary for generation of electricity how an AC generator starts to produce electricity? is there a battery or AC supply externally to produce magnetic fields?

10 grams of supercooled water at -10 degrees C freezes. The latent heat of fusion is lost to the surroundings and the ice regains the previous temperature. I have already calculated the changes in enthalpy and entropy, but I’m not sure how to calculate the change in internal energy and Gibbs free energy.

Has anyone tried a DIY home electricity like magnetic motor? Is it really feasible to have one at home?

I would like to try one myself, but i’m not sure if it is really worth it or it is easy for people who doesn’t have the best knowledge on electricity/electronics.
